Welcome to Dark Matter Foresight. By accessing our website or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. About Dark Matter Foresight

Dark Matter Foresight (“Dark Matter Foresight” or “DMF”) is an intelligence and narrative foresight project that analyzes emerging technology signals and explores potential futures through speculative narratives. DMF is created and operated by Mitchell Smith, also known as “MonoMitch.”

Use of DMF’s services is also governed by DMF’s Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing darkmatterforesight.com or subscribing to DMF’s newsletter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use DMF’s services.

3. Description of Services

DMF currently offers Convergence Chronicles, a narrative foresight newsletter exploring emerging technology signals through speculative narratives and analysis, along with related content and resources.

Some content may be free, and DMF may offer paid subscriptions or additional products and services. Subscription details, frequency, pricing, and features may change as DMF evolves. DMF will notify subscribers of material changes.

Please note: DMF content may contain coarse or strong language.

Dark Matter Foresight provides educational analysis and speculative foresight for informational and entertainment purposes only.

DMF’s content is NOT:

DMF does not recommend buying, selling, or holding any securities, cryptocurrencies, or other financial instruments.

DMF’s speculative narratives are fiction designed to explore potential futures. They are not predictions, guarantees, or assurances of what will happen.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Always consult qualified professionals (financial advisors, lawyers, etc.) before making important decisions based on any information, including DMF’s content.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Dark Matter Foresight — including but not limited to articles, narratives, analysis, graphics, and logos — is owned by Mitchell Smith and protected by copyright law.

Subscribers may:

• Read and enjoy content for personal use
• Share DMF narratives by linking to the original and providing clear attribution to Dark Matter Foresight

Subscribers may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or republish full articles without written permission
• Use DMF content for commercial purposes
• Create derivative works based on DMF narratives
• Remove copyright notices, branding, or attribution

Screen and Adaptation Rights:
All rights to narratives — including film, television, podcast, interactive, and other adaptation rights — are expressly reserved by Mitchell Smith.

6. Subscription and Payment

If DMF offers paid subscriptions:

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

DMF does not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact DMF within 7 days at mitchell@darkmatterforesight.com.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share login credentials or paid content with non-subscribers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or copy DMF content
• Attempt to circumvent any paywalls, access controls, or security measures
• Harass, abuse, or harm others in any DMF-related community spaces
• Use DMF content to mislead others, spread misinformation, or misrepresent affiliation with DMF

DMF may restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Dark Matter Foresight, Mitchell Smith, and MonoMitch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DMF’s services or reliance on DMF’s content.

DMF’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or DMF’s services shall not exceed the amount you paid to DMF in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dark Matter Foresight, Mitchell Smith, and MonoMitch from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of DMF’s services or content

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New South Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

DMF may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DMF’s services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. DMF will notify subscribers of material changes via email.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
